A Distant Dublin Summer
I suffer from a disease called shot and forgot. It happened sometimes to digital photos, but much more often to film. I finish a roll, take it out, and forget it ever existed. But whatever I do, the shot-and-forgotten lives on, like an amber trapping fragments of celluloid memories that refuse to evaporate.
Here’s some fragments from a distant summer, by which I mean two years ago. It was shot on HP5+ at iso1600, and forgotten for 23 months.
I remember going to the park every day to see these three swan chicks. And I can tell you for sure the story of the ugly duckling is a lie. These chicks are adorable af.
Well duh, this is Dublin.
I am a runner, so this is peak schadenfreude moment for me.
Who doesn’t love light leaks?
There it is! I hope y’all have an enjoyable summer, whatever that’d be like. Thanks for visiting my corner!

The swan and chicks one is literally brilliant. WOW.
Thanks!
