Around the Neighbourhood
I’ve found some new appreciation for the 5DII after its revival. So in the last couple of days, I’ve been taking it around. First thing that I noticed is that it saves me a lot of money on films and developing. Who would’ve thought, huh? The second thing is that The Zeiss Planar 50mm f1.4, when shot wide open, is such a treat. I missed the focus on quite a few shots, because, of course, I’m an idiot. I am still experimenting, but here are a few photos that I more or less nailed the focus. More or less.
I am fairly happy with these test shots. I’ll report back with more photos. Thanks for visiting! See ya!

These are wonderful, and so is the 5D Mk II !
You know I a firm believer that there is some magic left in those old DSLRs. And also a freedom in just tossing it around, as long as the tossing isn't the CF card into the toilet. Haha. Lovely shots, glad to see more of the Zeiss in action.
