Buckle up
Hello, everyone!
A happy update to my film at sea. Today, my Hong Kong lab emailed to tell me that they had just received the two rolls of film I had sent SIX WEEKS AGO. I could’ve walked to Hong Kong and sent the rolls myself, but given everything that’s going on right now, I’ll take this as a win. I thought snail mail was just a name. Oh the naiveté!
Tim Cook is leaving Apple. In his 15-year tenure, he was able to transform Apple from the cutting edge of the tech world into a money making machine selling mediocre products. Him kissing Trump’s orange ass is just icing on the cake.
End of rant.
I’ve written on this platform before about how I am not a fan of air travel. There’s always some anxiety simmering underneath: about packing, paperwork, security checks, delays, etc, etc, etc. My recent trip to Paris was, I had realised before I set out, my first solo trip in over two decades. I was lucky enough to date and then marry the lady who had planned almost all of our travels in the past 20 years, and the idea of travelling without her by my side gave me the anxiety greater than delivering my own eulogy, in a dream of course. I’d never trust me to deliver my eulogy.
Fortunately for me, the trip went fairly swimmingly. My neighbour was kind enough to drop me off at the airport, giving me enough time to strolling through all the obstacles and settled in with plenty time to spare. Going through customs at CDG took an hour, and the trains were not running. I had to take a taxi from CDG and got to my hotel just after midnight. On my way back, things went almost too well. It made me suspicious. I got home, and that was the trip.
In between all the obstacles, I took some photos. And here’s the new addition to my air travel series.
Here they are.
mandatory gate shot.
And then a gate change.
One of the most anxiety-inducing equipment at the airport.
Taxiing
Airborne.
Hot wing.
Sunset.

Another one from the auto walkway.
Time to say goodbye.
Another gate shot.
Boarding
It’s a blurrrrrrrrrr.
And that’s it for today! Thank you for stopping by for the rant! I appreciate the support.
À la prochaine!

The inside the terminal shots remind of the airport level in Tony Hawks Pro Skater in the best way.
Excellent. Airports and air travel is such a pain these days! Nice set. Well done!
