Cork on Gold
Here’s something miserable that happened to me today if you need a laugh. During my nightly run, a bug flew directly into my throat, and died there. Hopefully.
I’m posting a few more photos I shot in Cork during my marathon trip, from the roll of Kodak Gold.
During my marathon run, around the 35km mark, a guy held up a sign that said Bikes for Hire. I enquired about the price. He said 5 euros per kilometre, and I had to ride the bike myself. Disgraceful!
Anyway, Cork is lovely, and I wish I had more time to explore the city.
On to the photos.
I was trying to shoot a follow shot with a slow shutter, and then the three men leaped forward at the same time. And I got a shot like this. It wasn’t what I was hoping for, but it kinda grew on me. Unpredictability is fun.
This should’ve been the last frame of the roll. After shooting this, when I pull the advance lever, it got stuck half way, and I forced it through. As you can see on the right side of the frame, that strip belongs to the next frame. Another fun result from shooting film. Let’s call it a Frankenstein’s frame.
It almost feels like blasphemy if you go to a city in Ireland, and don’t take a photo of kegs. So here it is.
That’s it. Cork. There are a few more photos from Cork in the next roll. So, be warned. Thanks for your support! See you soon.

Yeah, I sure hope the bug
died.,I wonder if the body processes the bugs like food. I think it does. Thanks for the photos. I, of course, liked the grid best.
