Dear Vicky: Film Noir: MTR
I’ve posted about my favourite means of transportation in Hong Kong: the Star Ferry and the tram. Today’s post is about a middling way to get around town in the city: the MTR. The M stands for Meh. However, it is an efficient way to go to places, you don’t get to see much, but it is air conditioned. When I was doing my journalism programme, one of my lecturers loved to say: “the MTR running on time is not news.” Now I’m living in Dublin, where it actually is news. May he rest in peace.

Always so sharp, Li! Love the busy compositions. I'm always discouraged from shooting on the subway here, as the stations all have big "no camera," signs out front.
These are great, especially the ones where people are not looking at their phones 🙄
And having them in black and white does add a different level of texture and feeling to them.
