Dear Vicky: HP5+ @1600
Happy Lunar New Year to all who celebrate. Those who don’t celebrate should get in on the festivities! It’s year of the horse. C’mon!
During my Hong Kong trip, I shot one roll of HP5, my go-to film. And here are a few of them pushed to 1600 as usual.
Platform, MTR station
Security guy at the playground, big fan of anime apparently.
Pedestrians.

Ad, pawn shop, and tram stop signs.

Burning the midnight oil
Lady and banyan tree.
There it is. Thank you for stopping by on the first day of the lunar new year. Hope to see you more in the new year! Horse on! I know it’s not a thing in English.

Happy New Year! And wow! I think this is your best set of HK photographs: so dynamic, involved… – until the last one, of course! A superb set of images… – so thank you for sharing them.
Happy new year!
Lovely work, as always! I am generally not a fan of film grain, but the nighttime photos in this post might just change my mind.
I particularly like "Pedestrians." I viewed your post in my laptop's email reader and so it only showed me part of the image, from top to bottom, as I scrolled the post. The dark, grainy (!) texture of the building intrigued me and then, as I continued to scroll down, POW, the bright, almost blown-out, store window startled me.
It's one of the few times when having an image revealed from top to bottom (instead of all at once) was very effective.
