Dublin on ProImage 100
Hello!
I took George the Troublesome to my film lab today. Early education is important, they say. He didn’t really care for it. On the way back, a policeman tried to stop me from crossing the road while the light was blinking. I thought the police had better things to do these days.
Anyway, before my trip to Hong Kong, I shot a roll of Kodak Proimage 100, for the first time. Here’s a few shots from the roll, developed and scanned in Hong Kong.
Man with a scoop.
I thought I had an interesting shot, but it did not quite turn out. I am not sure if it’s three walkers on the left, or the nose of the white van. I thought about cropping, but I noticed the photos Marlon and Marilyn on the top right corner. Maybe a 50mm lens would’ve worked better here. Or maybe I should’ve shot from an angle. Thoughts?
Walker.
Through the window, a man.
Coffee shop people watching.
Another coffee shop shot.
That’s it for today. Thanks for jumping back in time with me to the Emerald Isle. May your holiday shopping go swimmingly!

Great images, Pro Image 100 (or Kodacolor 100 as it’s being rebranded) is definitely a sleeper hit film stock.
I can't really comment on the Kodak film (too many factors involved and no personal experience), but I don't think the 'man with Scoop' shot doesn't need another lens, but rather another standpoint, more to the right (towards 'Marlon and Marilyn') and a bit of patience to wait for the van to get out of the picture. The last shot is puzzling, in a good way.
