Dublin Streets on XX
Hello, one and all! I am back.
Lisbon is great! I had one 10km run there, shot four rolls of film, and ate a lot of great food. Shooting film this time around gave me a bit of anxiety for some reason. I felt I had shot too much and not enough at the same time, mostly because I was limited to a small neighbourhood during the trip, thanks to Georgie the Fussy Traveller. I’ll know more when the film gets developed.
One surprise I had during the trip was the Cinemateca Portuguesa, or Museum of Cinema. It was right next to the hotel I stayed at. One evening I wandered into it not knowing what it was. It’s a great space, filled with vintage video cameras dated back to the early days of filmmaking. Unfortunately, photos were not allowed, which is a shame and a bit confusing. I’ve only snapped a photo with my phone next to the reception, where there was no “No photo” sign, or at least I didn’t see one. There were about a dozen more on the second floor, and even more in the paid exhibition area, I think. It also had a bookstore and a film themed restaurant. It’s one of the coolest museums I’ve been to.
Back on today’s topic. The Kodak Double X, or the 5222 if you want to sound fancy. It’s a stock I’ve shot and liked before. Since Kodak is cracking down on respoolers, I thought I wouldn’t have too long to shoot the stock. I bought a roll a few weeks ago and shot it. Here’s a few frames from that roll.
I mean I have to take this one, right?
This has become one of my favourite vantage points in Dublin’s Grafton St.
The couple must’ve just come from a Palestine rally or something.

That’s it for today! Thank you for visiting me again in my corner of the internet! And farewell, till we meet again!

Those are amazingl! The reflection shot and 'busker and walkers' are to my liking. The museum next door sounds very cool, it's a pity you couldn't shoot more there. Go easy on Georgie, artists are supposed to be fussy.
Looking good! Look forward to seeing your film images.
