Dubliners on Rollei IR400 with a Red Filter
This week has been a dread and a half, which was why I didn’t post anything in the last two days. I felt better after running 30 km this afternoon, or I’ve gone insane. I got another roll of Rollei IR400 back on Wednesday, an eighth roll in the past month. While six of those rolls were shot in Paris, it’s too much. I decided to cut back on film and shoot digital for a while.
Back to this roll of film, I’ve always liked Rollei IR 400. Even though I haven’t had much success shooting it with IR filters, it works well as a normal ISO400 panchromatic film. I like shooting it with a red filter, which was what I did this time. I shot the entire roll with a red filter. The filter takes off three stops of light, which means I practically shot at ISO50. I shot some buildings, street stuff, and my three-year-old on a playground. The contrast is off the charts. Here’s a few of them. Excuse me for not captioning these.
Here it is! Thanks for visiting my little corner of the internet today! See ya!

Really great images! Loving the contrast! I'm shooting with rollei retro 80s rn that my film lab gave me when I said I wanted nice contrast. w/o infrared filter this time, but seeing the amazing result in you're photos makes me really want to try!
Outstanding images! Thanks for sharing, sorry you had a rough week.
