Film Dump: Lisbon, Portra-gal
Hello, you!
I just saw the terrible news of the tramcar derailment in Lisbon that killed at least 15 people. I hope the injured are taken good care of, and may such tragedy never happen again.
Today, I got my Lisbon scans back. I shot four rolls of Portra 160. I am gonna post some photos from my morning walk around the old town.
Lisbon is such a beautiful city, and the old town is peaceful in the morning. I will close today’s post with a photo that I did not take. But it was the result of my favourite moment of the entire trip. Here’s the photo:
This comes to you courtesy of Georgie. It was our last day in Lisbon. We were walking along the waterfront by the old town. My wife stopped to buy a piña colada. Georgie was a bit fussy. So I sat down on the pebbled walk, and asked him to sit down with me. I gave him the camera, and asked him if he wanted to take a photo. And he did. This is his first attempt at street photography. It’s not too bad. Travelling is always rough on Georgie. I am glad I’ve got to share this moment with him, and have a decent photo to remember it by. And here’s the artist at work
That’s it for today. I wish all the best to Lisbon and to everyone affected by the tragedy.

That news was bad. never heard of such an accident before. Photos 'requiem for a chair', 'through the gate' and (of course) ' selfie with Georgie' are my favorites from this edition.
Nice set on a sad day. Well done.
