Going North
When we moved to Ireland, we learnt a couple of things about the country: it rains a lot; there’s no summer; and everything shuts down for Christmas. Not wanting to be starved or bored to death for our first Christmas, we decided to go north and visit Belfast. At least, the hotel could feed us.
No one told us that Belfast was just as cold and rainy. I guess we could’ve guessed that much. The trip was exactly as planned. We spent most of our time in the hotel. Most places were closed during our stay, and we didn’t get to see much. I had my camera on me, of course, and I got to take a few photos. I didn’t realise at first, but most of my photos were sans humans. That’s how quiet the city was. Belfast was the first city I’d visited that didn’t really leave an impression of any kind. Here are a few photos.
Saying the city left no impression was probably not accurate. People drink a lot based on this photo.
I was caught in a shower, and sought shelter outside this McDonald’s. M didn’t pay me to do this.
That’s it for Belfast. If I go back to visit it again, I’ll try to see more of it. Thanks for reading!

What is the building in back of the Waterbikes?
So interesting! The pictures reflect what you said. Enjoyed these. Thanks.
