Japan in the Sun
It’s Japan time.
It’s a fun thing to go through old photos, especially travel photos. It also made me miss using my 5DII. I am thinking of taking it out of retirement and see what it can do now. Bad news is a while ago, my toddler son threw my two compact flash cards in the toilet. I’ll have to buy a new card.
Also RIP to Ozzy Osbourne.

I hope you weren't too angry with your son, after all, he's a genius. Maybe you know this, but in case you don't, I'm glad to be the one to tell you: you can buy adapters that allow you to use (cheap) SD cards in the CF slot of your 5 D Mk II. It works wonderfully, there's no noticeable delay/lag in writing or reading. I bought one for 25 euros, less than the current price for one CF card. I really recommend it.
I can't say why it's so funny to me, the idea of throwing compact flash cards into the toilet, but damn did that make me laugh. I've been using SDxc -> CF these days, much cheaper and haven't had a problem. :)
