Lights around the House
Hello, and welcome back!
Today, I saw a man walking down the street holding a birthday balloon with the number 40 on it. Is this a thing? I’ve always believed that once you can cross the road without adult supervision, you are too old for balloons. Am I wrong?
Anyway, I have not shot many photos lately. It’s been a busy couple of weeks as we are preparing our trip back to Hong Kong. But here’s a few photos from around the house. I like it when the winter lights hit just right.
Clothes hanger and a cryptic message left on a white board by George the Spymaster.
Lights and a photo of an ice cream van.
A photo frame.
Lights and stripes.
Light on door.
Lights on drawer chest.
Sliver of lights.
There it is. A little tour of my house. The exit is through the gift shop. Thank you!
There’s a good chance that my next post will land in your inbox from Hong Kong. But before that, enjoy the rest of your week!

I sent my husband 40 black balloons on his birthday.
He was at school teaching the kids when he got them. I wrote him a poem which ended "it will be as tho you were letting the balloons go..."
He loved it. Needless to say I am a big fan of balloons.
These pics are really nice, settling, peaceful, invading only a tiny bit.
Enjoy being back in Hong Kong. Thanks for your words and photos.
Light is what it is all about! And no, the balloon.... please don't bring me one. You cannot release it - bad for the environment. You cannot puncture it - that would be rude. You end up in a dilemma nobody deserves! Even if you are old enough to cross the road on your own!
