Movie Monday
And Photos from Japan
You give us a colour; we’ll wipe it out.—George Carlin on America’s love for war.
Welcome to another episode of Movie Monday.
After a whirlwind of classic movies in the last few weeks, I decided to take it easy this week, and watch a movie at home. In a span of about 20 days, I watched, in theatre, Ran, In the mood for love, Apocalypse Now, and Barry Lyndon. I love all of them, but three out of the four movies are over three hours long. So this week, I decided to take it easy, so I stayed home and watched War Dogs.
I don’t have much to say about the movie other than it’s fine. It’s a fun watch. The plot would’ve been too crazy a pitch for a movie had it not been based on a true story. Two 20 something year olds scammed tens of millions of dollars from military contracts. It’s just an insane tiny sliver of America’s so-called war on terror. After 20 years, trillions of dollars, hundreds of thousands of civilian deaths, what has America achieved? Afghanistan is back under Taliban, ISIS was born thanks to W. All this for the illusion of safety. That’s it for my anti war rant.
On to photos. Today’s photos are from Japan, again.
Overkill much?
That’s it for today. Have a good week ahead! See ya!

Man! These shots are great! Really love the first one and the one at the train station. The compositions here are perfect!
