Picasso Sans Picasso
Hello, everyone!
The small good news this week is that my two rolls of film finally reached my lab in Hong Kong and have been developed and scanned. In this crazily stupid time, this is huge.
One of these rolls was my first roll shot in Dublin this year. I went to see a Picasso exhibition at the National Gallery, and it turned out to be a huge disappointment in more ways than I want to bore you with. Know that as I was leaving the exhibition, I thought it was a prank. But it was not. It was just a bad exhibition. After this surreal experience, I stuck around the National Gallery, a space I really like and took some photos. And if you think I am gonna post those photos here, you are correct.
Stairs, or a broken escalator.
Staire and square.
A window with a view and a chair.
Through the door.
Tilt up.
Abstraction.
A door and a fire extinguisher.
A doorway.
Don’t even doubt I was at the exhibition coz I’ve got the receipt.
The man upstairs.
Space.
Window seat.
An entry is made.
Far from the maddening exhibition.
Quiet reflection.
A lady and a guy dressed up as the salad guy.
A couple of couples.
And there it is! I’m not sure how much I like these, but I am happy that it hadn’t been lost at sea. Again, with all the craziness going on at the moment, I’ll take this as a win. I want to close by proposing a new name for America: The Unlimited Snafus of America.
I hope you are enjoying your week so far! Stay safe and sane!
À la prochaine!

I'm sorry to hear that exhibition seemed like a prank to you, but your photos of that place are just wonderful, and with your infamous prosaic captions. You should definitely visit more bad exhibitions! The 'window seat' photo is my favorite.
You certainly see details worth capturing wherever you go!
