I’m back.

Another marathon is done. I had a hard time in the last 8K. I am happy I finished. It was nowhere near the time I planned for, but considering I injured my knee a month ago, I’ll take this.

Running is one of the things that I do all by myself. It clears my head, and keeps me sane. It’s not unlike taking photos in that sense. Running has taught me a lot of things, and given me some business ideas. I’ve come to learn, from running half a dozen marathons, that I am fucking annoying. I am not a talkative person, especially in the company of strangers. But when I’m running long distances, there’s not much to do but talk to myself, and I can’t seem to be able to shut up.

Once I went hiking with a friend, and she ditched me halfway through for a date. I decided to keep going by myself to hike Lantau Peak, one of the tallest and challenging mountains in Hong Kong. As I struggled my way up, I thought of a good business idea, which would help runners and hikers alike. I will provide two courses to these self-haters: Decision Making and ANGER MANAGEMENT. Today’s post has nothing to do with running, hiking, or self hatred. Two years ago, I shot a roll of Tri-X, and immediately forgot about it until recently. I sent it in for development, and I am posting a few photos today. I shot the roll in the summer, or the closest thing Ireland’s got to a summer. Here are the photos.
