Rocks and Hard Places
Taroko National Park, Taiwan
I’m gonna try a new theme today: rocks. It’s not something I am good at shooting. Then again, I am not really good at anything, so it doesn’t really matter. I find shooting landscape with standard lenses challenging. The results were always, well, meh. But I have tried, and here’s from one of the attempts from Taroko National Park of Taiwan, one of my favourite countries to visit.
Let’s rock!
Looking at these rocks is an humbling experience. They’ve been here for billions of years, carved and shaped by the elements. And they will be here for billions of years to come. We humans are stupid enough to believe that paper beats rock. Rubes!
Anyway, I know you are not here for my dumb commentary. So that’s it for today! Have a good weekend!

Rocks are always interesting in contrasty monochrome. They have so much texture. And I love your contrast Chen.
These photos are anything but "meh"! Each one captures the textures, the "rock-iness", of a rock formation. So lovely!
