Ruins of Angkor Wat
I wrote about my experience of running the Angkor Wat half marathon, and posted a few photos I shot during that trip. Today, I thought I’d post a few photos of the actual temple, well, what remains of the temple.
Angkor Wat is a Hindu Buddhist temple built over 800 years ago. It was recognized by the Guinness World Records as the largest religious structure in the world. The temple has been through some turmoil to say the least. And here are some photos.
This is probably the most recognisable shot of the temple. If you’ve seen any photo of the temple, chances are it’s this one. It would’ve been a cool experience to run past this had the half marathon route had not been altered last minute.

That’s it for today! Hope you like these trees and bricks. I’ll be out of town for a week starting tomorrow, which means I will not have access to my photo catalogue. Regular postings will be disrupted. I will try to post something. But don’t count on it.

Amazing ruins and pics of ruins. Thanks.
