Dear Vicky: I’m Back.
早晨 from Hong Kong!
I am back, after a long journey. We landed yesterday afternoon, got to the hotel, had a little food, and bathed and put George to bed. He fell asleep at midnight, and woke up two hours later. And then he went on to have a party in the bed we shared we with. He brought about 8 books, Lego pieces and other alien objects into bed. He had a blast, while his mom and I were trying to get some shut-eye, which he did not all approve of. The party lasted five hours, and then he was sound asleep. How fun!
This afternoon, we took the tram ride to Causeway Bay, and walked around. Little man used his own Octopus Card for the first time, and he seemed to be proud of himself. Anyway, I had my camera on me, and here’s some photos from today.
I missed the Hong Kong density.
Faces on tram and bus.
Hydrate much?
West-bound tram.
Emptiness.
Escalator reflection.
Through the window of a lift.
Materialist motivation.
Need toy?
Restaurant.
Birthday balloons and reflections.
This is Hong Kong busy.
Bamboo scaffoldings, before the time comes.
Protestor for Palestine.
Long escalator.
Two photographers at work.
Back alley.
Laundry.
Silhouette of a man.
There it is. My first day in Hong Kong. Thanks for coming to say hi! Our dear Vicky is pleased that you are here. See you!

Excellent batch of photos!
My favorite: bamboo (!) scaffolding! Never heard of such a thing.
Awesome pics. I saw the female protestor the other day while I was on the bus - she was walking in the middle of the road (Cotton Tree Drive) with her flag.
I am looking forward to seeing more pictures, but enjoy the trip!
